Many excited restaurants are lined up to participate in "Savor Estes Park". So, save the 4 Thursdays of March (March 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th) from 4:30 -7:30 PM. You are in for a really big treat! Thousands of people participated in last year's Savor Estes Park... and this year's "Savor Estes Park" will be even BIGGER!
Participating restaurants will be serving a 6” plate of some of their specialty foods with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink. The cost for each restaurant is $3.00 per person. Residents or visitors are encouraged to visit 2-3 different restaurants each week that they haven’t been to or go to your favorite restaurants and enjoy their fabulous cuisine at a very reasonable price. You will even find a few new restaurants that you will surely will go back to sometime soon.
And… don't forget to finish the night with a stop for dessert! All you have to do is show up, let the restaurant know that you are there for "Savor Estes Park" and you will get their specialty plate for only $3.00. It’s a GREAT meal-deal and a chance to try those restaurants that you’ve been wanting to try! If you plan it right, you could go to 12-15 new restaurants during the month of March…and for a great VALUE!
So get your 2010 calendars out and mark these dates: March 4th, March 11th, March 18th and March 25th from 4:30 - 7:30. Plan on picking out 2-3 restaurants each week (or 4, if you’re really hungry or really want to try more than 12 restaurants during the month of March) and strategize on which restaurants you will be visiting. Tell all of your friends, relatives and neighbors ! (One of my friends thought I had said, "Save Our Estes Park," which is not a bad thought either in the middle of winter!) It’s a fun time…if you make it that way!
