ABOUT ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK HIKES:
If you are planning on visiting RMNP, there is extensive information on many of the popular hikes: length of hike, elevation gain, description of the hike, a video of the hike, rating of the hike from other hikers and comments about the hike from other hikers. The hikes are separated into easy, moderate and difficult. All hikes are rated conservatively. There are also still photographs of many of the hikes.
How To Navigate The Hikes:
Visit the RMNP hiking section and click on some of the still photographs to see if any of the hikes interest you. If you see a hike, click on the "I would like to try this hike" button below the photograph. You will be able to watch a video of this hike. There are other options regarding each hike: read the comments from other hiker button, leave a comment button and rate the trail button to rate the trail yourself. There are 3 other buttons to locate easy, moderate and difficult hikes. Click the type of hike you are interested in and then select the name of the hike from the pull-down select list. The "Display All Thumb Ratings" button will list the ratings of all hikes based on input from other hikers.
  
  
HOW TO NAVIGATE FOR BUSINESSES, SPECIALS & EVENTS INFORMATION:
Home Page:
On the home page are two rotating images of Estes Park and RMNP park. If you click on an image, those two images will rotate to new images. Underneath each image is an "Additional Information" button for additional information regarding that particular image.
Rotating Business Images (VIEW BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE):
At the bottom of the screen will be rotating business images. If you see a business that interests you, click the image to see and read all the information about that particular business. If the business has any promotions or events, there will be a button for their promotions (coupons, discount codes, gift certificates, etc.). There will also be another button for the menus from the restaurants, list of entertainment (dancing, bands, etc.) and any other information that relates to that particular business. If you already are familiar about a business, you will be able to save money using their promotions. Some businesses will offer a bonus Gift Certificate that gives you additional value for purchasing a gift certificate such as a 20% increase in value. For instance: Purchase a $50 gift certificate and receive a $60 gift certificate. You may also contact the business by email using the "Contact The Business" button. Click the "Read Comments" button to read comments from people that have knowledge about their visit to that business or using the services provided by that business. You can also leave your own comment by clicking the "Leave A Comment Button".
  
Category Listing Pull-Down Selection List (VIEW BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE):
If you are searching for a particular type of business, use the "Select A Category" selection list. You can search for categories such as breakfast restaurants, lunch restaurants, dinner restaurants, lodging, gift shops and any other type of business that you are interested in. A complete list of images will appear. Click on the business image that you are interest in and read about that particular business.

If you already know the name of a business, select that business from the list of businesses.
Special Promotions & Events (VIEW BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE):
At different times of the year, there will be Special Promotions (SPECIALS) and Events listed in the calendar. At the bottom of each screen, there will be a rotating list of specials and events of the day. If you happen to see a special or event that interests you, click on the listing.
Calendar - Specials & Events:
There is a 2 month calendar of specials and events. At the bottom of each page are the "Specials Calendar" and Event Calendar" buttons. Click the button that you are interest in. Click each date that you want to view. The calendar will either list the specials or events based on the type of calendar you are interested in. Each listing will also include buttons to learn more about each listing as well as discount and promotional buttons for each listing. There is also another option available for the calendar. When either calendar type button is selected, there will be an "Advanced Calendar Search" button located under the calendar. The advanced calendar search button allows you to search multiple days by multiple categories. For instance, if you would like to view all entertainment for a particular week, select the days of the week and entertainment. A list of all the places in town that have entertainment for those days will be listed. Additional buttons will be available for each listing for discounts, coupons, etc.  Please keep returning to the calendar each day as many new listings will be added by the businesses.
