The historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park was shrouded in clouds the other morning. It was such a pretty sight with Lumpy Ridge in Rocky Mountain National Park in the background.
It was a windy day when I took a walk around Lake Estes last week. You can see the waves and white caps on the water.
But you can also see that the lake has not frozen yet. We’ve had just beautiful weather here in Estes Park!
And…look at the snow-capped mountains in the background. They are really white!
This gorgeous Bull Elk was trying to lure some of the cows away from another Bull Elk nearby. The other Bull had about 50 cows while this one had none.
He looks pretty nice to me. What do you think? He sure was trying…
Can you see the Stanley Hotel in the background on the hill?
The historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park is always gorgeous as it sits up on a hill with its spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains, both in front and behind.
I took this black and white photograph after it had snowed a bit and the sky was still very dramatic.
What do you think?
