This female Mountain Bluebird posed on this rock while we took many photographs of her before the snows came last week. I just love this one. She and her mate were busy building their nest and flying back and forth to the Aspen trees on Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Beautiful little lady, don’t you think?

    Great image! Our Western bluebirds are here and have been investigating all our boxes. They seem to take forever to get down to business though.

    She is popping right out of the picture at me, Mel. When they say “Blue” they mean “BLUE!
