I love seeing the new little wildflowers start blooming here in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park!! It means that spring is almost really here.

This pretty little Storkbill is growing along West Elkhorn Avenue and I’ve seen it at Lake Estes. It is a tiny, purple¬†flower that grows very close to the ground. It is so delicate.

Have you ever seen a Storkbill wildflower?

So exuberant and in full voice!

Gorgeous! I would love to live in Estes and be able to witness the beauty of the flowers in all the seasons. In southern Iowa the only thing blooming so far are the crocuses.
