I was hiking up the Knolls-Willow Nature Preserve in Estes Park yesterday and the snowy mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park looked so pretty! They finally have some decent snow.
Have you ever been up on Knoll-Willows ? It has great views of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park on one side and Lake Estes on the other. You can see Taylor Peak, Otis Peak, Hallett Peak and Flattop Mountain from left to right in the photograph.
Just wanted to give you a little update on the snow in the mountains…it’s getting better!
Can you tell me how to find Knolls-Willow? I’ve never heard of it…..Thanks!
Penni, it’s right across the street from the Stanley Hotel…across Wonderview Avenue. There’s a parking lot right there. It’s a little park but very pretty.
