The clouds over Longs Peak, the highest peak in Rocky Mountain National Park, were just beautiful the other day.
We had gone down to Lily Lake to see the new dam that was built there and to see if the trail was open again. The dam is complete and the trail is open!
We had our cameras and got some good photographs of the mountains and the snowy trail.. I liked this one of the clouds over Longs Peak.

absolutely beautiful blue sky and light clouds. we are struck by the lack of snow, below and above, at the end of January! that can’t be good.
