The mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park are so gorgeous when they are covered with snow, especially Longs Peak, the highest peak in the park.

This was such a beautiful day after it had a snowed a few weeks ago. We took a rideĀ into the parkĀ to take some photographs. Pretty, don’t you think?

What a festive picture. Seems as though all of nature is celebrating the coming of the new snow.

Mel, I’m from the Midwest where the highest mountain we have is the speed bump at the local mall. I’ve been to Estes a few times and your blog allows me to revisit her daily. Thank you for sharing! Longs is beautiful covered in a blanket of snow!
