This is my very first photograph of a hummingbird. I was walking down the Riverwalk in Estes Park when I saw some people with their cameras out, clicking away.

I looked up and saw this little hummingbird going from flower to flower, so I joined in the fun and clicked away!

What a treasure, Mel! This adorable little creature is so full of life with wings aflutter to steady him while he sups his cherish nectar, framed by his gorgeous hosts.

Beautiful photo. Makes me long for spring on a cold Iowa January day.

My, what a great pic! Your shutter speed must have been 1/1000th of a second! Great work, Mel :>)
