I was walking back from downtown when I saw a little movement out of the corner of my eye. I quickly got my camera and took this one photograph of a Pine Siskin before it flew away. It was perched on a Thistle which had gone by and was enjoying all of the little seeds.
It’s really a pretty little bird, don’t you think? I love the yellow on his wings and tail feathers.

Yes, a beautiful bird. Thanks!
I always look forward to their visit to Loveland over the winter!
The picture is lovely and the setting is so perfect as it replicates the colouring of this
gorgeous bird.
