Phil took this photograph of the Big Thompson River from the Lake Estes Trail a couple of days ago. It’s really cool how he can edit it on his iPhone to look like an old-time photograph.

I have always been an outdoor enthusiast. Living in Connecticut for most of my life, I love to hike, bike, ski, snowshoe, ocean kayak and photograph nature.
With our house in Estes Park only a few yards away from Rocky Mountain National Park, it is just incredible. The views are spectacular and the wildlife is just amazing. There is always something to do and something new to see.
I would like to share my blog with you and my love of the great outdoors. Please feel free to comment on any of the stories. It would be fun to hear from any or all of you reading my stories.

My mom use to live n Estes Park growing up and she was caught in the middle of that flood going home from work. She said it the most scariest thing shes ever been through.
Absolutely fascinating! Mood and corresponding feeling is so much more present than in
contemporary photographic prints.
Real Butch and Sundance feel.
