There was a huge herd of Mule Deer on the way into Rocky Mountain National Park The other day. Usually we see maybe 4-6 in a herd, but this herd had 28 Mule Deer! Wow! I’d never seen one so large.
It was a stunning photograph with the snow-capped mountain peaks of Taylor, Otis and Hallett in the background.
Beautiful, don’t you think?

Oooooh! Yes, quite beautiful. You, my friend, are most fortunate to live there…tx for sharing
Stunning! I can imagine how moving it must have been, in the flesh, both as scenery and in herd size.
really really inspiring. which entrance is that?
When the poetry of your photos mutes, the words of Aldo Leopold’s ‘A Sand Countryl Alamanac’ provides pleasant musings.
Scott, it was the Beaver Meadows Entrance near Route 66.
Beautiful picture! Wish I had seen them! Thanks for sharing!
