I’ve never posted a photograph of a raven but this one really caught my eye. I saw this raven on a rock down by the marina, trying to pick something apart for breakfast. I couldn’t tell what it was.
But I loved the raven on the rock, which almost looks like a silhouette, with the lake waters rippling in the background. Pretty, don’t you think?
I thought it would be fun to post this “black raven” for Halloween. Happy Halloween to you all!

What a superb photograph Mel. The light is magical and the stance of the crow puts me in mind of a ballet dancer.
