The Creeping Oregon Grapes Are Blooming On Cub Lake Trail In RMNP

I just love this time of year when the wildflowers are starting to bloom. Every time we take a hike, there is something new to see.

Yesterday we hiked the Cub Lake Trail which is one of our favorite hikes. This time the Creeping Oregon Grapes were in full bloom all along the lower part of the trail. They are so pretty, looking like a bunch of yellow grapes. This bunch had a another little wildflower growing in with it. Pretty, isn’t it? They’ll bloom till June so you still have time to see them if you head out on the trail! (The Early Buttercups are still everywhere along the trail too!)
