What A FUN Night Everyone Had At “Savor Estes Park” On Thursday!

Why was Thursday night, March 5th, 2009 different from all the other Thursdays in January or February? It was because the streets were filled with smiling people enjoying “Savor Estes Park”. If you missed out last Thursday, you have 3 more nights to celebrate “Savor Estes Park” – March 12, March 19 and March 26.
A congratulations goes out to the 23 restaurants and dessert shops who participated and made last night such a terrific night. We did not have the time to go around and talk with all 23 business owners, so to name the business owners that we visited would be unfair to ones we did not visit. We will only report in general at this time. We had the opportunity to visit 2 restaurants and we have to say “We had a GREAT meal and a GREAT time in both places.” It was tough to estimate the amount of people who attended “Savor Estes Park”, but 1,000 punch cards were printed and more have to be printed for next week.
We were able to photograph some of the excitement and good times. Next week we hope to photograph even more (but we also have to take the time to enjoy the evening, too). The Trail Gazette’s photographer (Walt) was seen around town and there probably will be some additional photographs in the Trail Gazette next week.

Awesome event everyone! We had great participation at the pie shop and we’re looking forward to seeing you all again next week! We’ll always have pie of course, but we will have other goodies next week too! See you then! Val
Philip, can you send me one of your signs to hang in my shop? I can’t wait to attend next week!
What a wonderful event on Thursday. I have already mentioned it to a few of my friends that weren’t aware of the special dining Thursdays. I am very proud of what Estes Park is offering the visitors to their town.
Erik, I will stop by today. I have a Savor Estes Park Map and Savor Estes Park poster for Images Of Rocky Mountain National Park. Thanks for placing the posters in your business.
We visited Cisco’s yesterday and she mentioned to us that a person came to here restaurant and had 7 punches on his Savor Card. He asked for only a small portion as he had hit his limit of eating. He must have started at 4:30 pm and raced around to the 7 restaurants. He probably takes the award for most restaurants visited. :+)
My boyfriend and I went out last Thursday – we made it to Wine and Cheese, and Hunters Chophouse – both were excellent!! Restaurant-hopping made a fun date-night! Can’t wait till Thursday!
What a great time my friends and I had last Thursday. Can’t wait until this Thursday. I even invited a couple more friends for our group. Starting earlier this time.
