If you want to listen to live music on a warm summer night, come to Estes Park. There are many concerts and music during the week for everyone’s enjoyment. Performance Park offers concerts on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00, with many more on the weekends. Cowboy Brad and Kathy Fitch play at Bond Park on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7:00. Barlow Plaza, next to Poppy’s and Mama Rose’s has music many nights of the week as well as Riverside Plaza behind Outdoor World on the Riverwalk.
Last night was a beautiful night. Phil and I decided to go down to Barlow Plaza on the Big Thompson River and listen to the music of Dick Orleans. Phil plays the guitar too, so it was fun to listen and watch. Dick delighted his audience with an array of different songs including many of our favorite’s by The Eagles.
It was a real treat when a lady in the audience stopped us to tell us how much she enjoys reading our Enjoy Estes Park Blog. Penni and her husband Rob come up from Loveland frequently to visit Estes Park. They just love it up here. It was fun to meet them and visit with them. Thank you, Penny!
From Barlow Plaza we headed down to Performance Park to listen to Chased in Concert. There were a lot of people enjoying the music by the big rock ampi-theater.
If you look around or ask around, there is always something to do in Estes Park. The summer concerts and music are a lot of fun. It’s wonderful just to be outside, sitting next to the river, enjoying some good music on a warm summer evening in Estes Park!
